The platform rake is 5% of the losing side's stakes. It is never taken from a winner's own stake, so a winning bet cannot lose money. Three cases return the money instead of paying it out: if the market is VOIDED, every stake is refunded in full; if nobody backed the winning outcome in a currency, every stake in that currency is refunded in full; and if nobody took the other side, every stake is refunded in full and no rake is taken.
