How to Play Ultimate Texas Hold'em

Ultimate Texas Hold'em lets you raise at multiple points during the hand. You place Ante and Blind bets, then choose when to raise: 4x pre-flop, 2x after the flop, or 1x after the river. The earlier you raise, the more you stand to win, but with less information.

How to Play

  1. Place equal Ante and Blind bets. Optionally place a Trips side bet.
  2. You receive two hole cards. You can raise 3x or 4x your Ante (large raise), or check.
  3. Three community cards (flop) are dealt. If you haven't raised, you can raise 2x your Ante, or check.
  4. Two more community cards (turn and river) are dealt. If you still haven't raised, you must raise 1x or fold.
  5. Best five-card hand wins. The dealer needs a pair to qualify. If the dealer doesn't qualify, Ante pushes.
  6. Blind bet pays on a straight or better, regardless of the dealer's hand.

Trips Bonus Side Bet

  • Evaluates your best five-card hand from all 7 cards (2 hole + 5 community). Pays independently of the main hand and dealer qualification.
  • Royal Flush 50:1, Straight Flush 40:1, Four of a Kind 30:1, Full House 8:1, Flush 7:1, Straight 4:1, Three of a Kind 3:1.

Millionaire Mode

An optional side bet. Qualifying hands pay from the Millionaire prize pool, up to $1,000,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

What bets do I need to place before receiving my hole cards?

You must place equal Ante and Blind bets to start the hand. You can also choose to place an optional Trips side bet for additional payouts based on your final hand strength.

When can I raise my bet and what are my raise options?

You can raise 4x your Ante before the flop, 2x after the flop is revealed, or 1x after the river card appears. Earlier raises offer larger payouts but with less information about community cards.

What happens if I check instead of raising?

Checking means you stay in the hand without raising and wait for more community cards to be revealed. You maintain your original Ante and Blind bets and keep your option to raise at the next betting stage.

How many community cards are dealt in Ultimate Texas Hold'em?

Three community cards are revealed in the flop, one card comes in the turn, and one final card appears on the river for a total of five community cards.

Does the Trips side bet affect my main hand outcome?

No, the Trips side bet is independent and pays based on whether your final five-card hand contains three of a kind or better. Your main hand result depends only on your Ante and Blind bets.
