How to Play Plinko

Plinko drops a ball from the top of a triangular peg board. The ball bounces left or right off each peg and lands in a slot at the bottom. Each slot has a payout multiplier. Slots near the centre pay less; slots at the edges pay more.

How to Play

  1. Set your bet amount.
  2. Choose the number of rows (8, 10, 12, 14, or 16). More rows means more pegs and more extreme edge payouts.
  3. Choose a risk level: Low, Medium, or High. Higher risk increases the edge multipliers and reduces the centre multipliers.
  4. Click Drop. The ball bounces through the pegs and lands in a payout slot.

Key Features

  • The ball path is determined by a provably fair seed.
  • Payout range depends on rows and risk: High risk with 16 rows can reach multipliers above 1,000x on the outermost slots. Centre slots pay near zero on high risk.
  • Auto-bet for running multiple drops in sequence.
  • House edge: 2%.

Golden Ball Millionaire Mode

An optional side bet. If the Golden Ball activates and lands in a qualifying edge slot, you win from the Millionaire prize pool, up to $1,000,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I increase the number of rows in Plinko?

Increasing rows adds more pegs for the ball to bounce off, creating more possible paths to the bottom slots. Higher row counts increase the potential for more extreme payouts at the edges while reducing center slot payouts.

How do risk levels affect my potential winnings?

Higher risk levels expand the multiplier range at edge slots while lowering center multipliers. Low risk offers smaller but more frequent wins, while high risk targets larger payouts with greater variance.

Can I control where the ball lands on the board?

No, the ball's path is determined by random bounces off the pegs. You can only control your bet amount, row count, and risk level before dropping the ball.

What is the difference between edge slots and center slots?

Center slots have lower payout multipliers but the ball lands there more frequently due to probability. Edge slots have higher multipliers but occur less often as the ball must bounce consistently in one direction.

Should I choose more rows to win bigger prizes?

More rows increase volatility and edge payouts, but do not improve your odds of winning. Choose row count based on your preferred gameplay style, not as a strategy to guarantee larger wins.
