Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I fold during Mississippi Stud?
When you fold, you lose your Ante bet and your raise bet for that street. The hand ends immediately and you sit out until the next round begins.
Can I raise more than 3x my Ante on any street?
No, the maximum raise at each street is 3x your original Ante bet. You can raise 1x, 2x, or 3x, or fold.
How many community cards are revealed in total?
Three community cards are revealed one at a time across three streets. You make raise-or-fold decisions after each card is revealed.
What poker hand do I need to win in Mississippi Stud?
You must make a pair or better using your two hole cards and the three community cards to win. A high card does not qualify, and you lose your bets if you cannot make a pair.
When do I place my raise bets during the game?
You place a raise bet at each street after viewing the newly revealed community card. You decide to raise 1x-3x your Ante or fold before the next card is revealed.
