How to Play

HiLo shows you a playing card and asks one simple question: will the next card be higher or lower? A tie counts for you either way, except on an Ace or a King, where a Same button appears instead. Guess right and your multiplier grows. Guess wrong and the round ends. Chain correct guesses together for multipliers that compound with every correct call.

  1. Set your bet to start.
  2. A card appears on screen. Look at its number - is it a low card like a 3 or a high card like a King?
  3. Click Higher or Lower. On an Ace or a King one of those is replaced by Same.
  4. If you're right, a new card appears and your multiplier goes up. You can keep playing or cash out.
  5. If you're wrong, the round ends and your bet is lost.
  6. After the round, you can start fresh with a new bet.

Tips & Tricks

The core HiLo strategy is simple: look at the card and bet toward the direction with more room. If the card is a 3, it's much more likely the next card is higher - only 8 of the 52 cards rank below a 3, while 44 win the Higher call once you count the tie. If the card is a King, it's almost certainly going to be lower next time.

The Same prediction is for the bold. There are four cards of each rank in a 52-card deck, and because every draw is independent the chance stays 4 in 52 no matter what you have already seen. Same predictions pay huge when they hit but fail the vast majority of the time. Use it very selectively, if at all.

The safest approach for long multiplier chains: only predict when the card gives you a strong edge. Cards near rank 2 or King put about 48 of the 52 cards on one side of the call against about 4 on the other. Chain those high-confidence predictions and let the multiplier build up before you encounter a tricky mid-rank card.

Cash out discipline is essential in HiLo. Set a target multiplier before you start - "I'll cash out at 3x" - and honour it when you get there. Cash out at 3x for a profit of twice your stake.

Is It Fair?

Each recorded card in a HiLo round comes from a SHA-256 hash. After the server seed is revealed, you can check that it matches the commitment and recompute each card using the recorded inputs. Your client seed goes into the hash for every card.

After your session, you can verify every card in every round. The server reveals its seed, you recompute the hash for each recorded position, and the cards that fall out match the ones you were shown. Check that the revealed seed matches its commitment and each card matches its recorded inputs.

This is what makes HiLo on WickedBet different from a live-dealer card game where you can't see the deck. Here you can recompute every card yourself - after seed revelation. Use the committed seed and each recorded position to check the cards you saw.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Millionaire HiLo have side bets I can add?

Yes. Six side bets: Big Card, Small Card, Suit Caller, Pinpoint Rank, Court Card, Midline. Place any before the round; each pays on its own outcome, separate from the main game.

What is Millionaire HiLo?

Millionaire HiLo is a card guessing game where you look at a playing card and predict whether the next one will be higher or lower, with a tie counting for you except on an Ace or a King. Each correct guess builds your multiplier. Chain enough correct calls together and you can win big - or cash out between predictions after your first correct guess. It's simple to learn and surprisingly strategic.

Is Millionaire HiLo rigged?

Each HiLo card is generated from the committed seeds, round nonce and its recorded position. After the session, the server reveals its seed so you can verify every card in the sequence yourself. Check that the revealed seed matches its commitment, then recompute each recorded card.

Can I play Millionaire HiLo with crypto?

You pay in with crypto - the cashier shows which coins work. Pick the balance you want to play Millionaire HiLo with, and your stakes and winnings stay in that currency. When you withdraw, you pick the wallet and the cash-out is sent on-chain.

Any tips for playing Millionaire HiLo?

Look at the card's rank before predicting. Cards close to 2 are almost certainly going to be followed by something higher; cards close to King are almost certainly going to be lower. Cards near 7 are the flattest - a little better than a coin flip, paying about 1.82x. Build your chain on the confident calls near the extremes and be selective about how often you take a flat one.
